THE TRI-TOWER COMPLEX

“Peace is not merely the absence of war, but a tireless commitment to harmony and understanding.” These words of Meridian Incorporated CEO Vincent Sloane upon accepting his presidency of The Council of Elysium are memorialized proudly on a plaque in the entrance vestibule of Meridian’s Tri-Tower Complex.

Helios City as it stands today, has risen from the ashes of The Great Schism War into an example of perseverance and unification. Generations who lived through this war endured so much. The Kingdom of Eidolon, in which Helios City resides, proved to be a strong and unwavering kinetic force of strength and leadership in the global defense against the Kingdom of Sernatum's tyrannical ambitions. But this meant that while Eidolon’s forces were deployed to war, the homefront became vulnerable prey for Sernatum’s airborne onslaught and bombardment.

Ancient missile silos long depleted of their armaments sheltered the city’s population during the war a generation ago, and as a result, the people moved their lives underground and built permanent habitats for their society. Today these bunkered silos have provided the foundation and structure for the famed subsurface boroughs and lower cosmopolitan district underneath Helios City’s massive technological metropolis.

Vincent Sloane and Dr. Vyran Bax experienced first-hand the horrors of war together, and upon the five kingdoms of Elysium achieving peace, the two war veterans founded what is today Meridian Incorporated to help rebuild and lead the people of Eidolon and Helios City toward a tangible hope emerging out of the ashes of war.

Symbolizing the ultimate endurance of victory after The Great Schism War, Meridian's Tri-Tower Complex symbolically ascends from one of these famed silos. Many reverently call them the Diadem Spires of Helios City because of its silhouette appearing like a jeweled royal crown that adorns the city's skyline. Hundreds of levels below have been transformed into a thriving urban center over many astro cycles. Famously, survivors and refugees from the comet calamity have been accepted by Helios City or sponsored by Meridian Incorporated and have taken residence in many dwelling units within these subsurface boroughs, encouraged to rebuild their lives here in Helios City.

Meridian's Tri-Tower Complex, these three beacons forming The Diadem, rise from a legacy of war and have diverted the perspective of a new generation away from calamity and toward a collective prosperity. For, in Vincent Sloane’s words, “We can overcome the calamities of today if we do so together, soaring from the fire united. Strong. Join me in my vision, for together we rise.”
